I have had 2 back fusion surgeries by Dr Wiles. Neither surgery has been successful. When I was in the hospital for the 2nd surgery, I had to lay on my left side for 3 days because my back would spasm if I tried to roll on my back or tried to roll onto my right side. The biggest concern the practice had was that I couldn't have pain medication or enough muscle relaxers to allow this movement. I wasn't able to feed myself while laying this way so I just went hungry except when I had a visitor. (That was mostly the hospital's fault.) I am unable to walk more than 100 yards and have continuous pain. So now, they just want me to go to a general practitioner for any post care. The patient care that I have received by this practice from surgery to post care has been horrible. The staff that I speak to are usually rude and only there to say they can't help. I was in debilitating pain with a bulging disc pinching my sciatic bundle and calling Dr Wiles' office was the best decision ever. I can't speak highly enough about the entire staff, from nurse practitioner to insurance team to scheduling. Once I agreed that a microdiscectomy was the right course of action (at my very first appt), they had me scheduled and on the OR table 5 days later. I walked out of that hospital pain free 2 hours after they put me under anesthesia, after WEEKS of being bed-ridden and trying to figure out what was wrong. I'm a busy Mama of 4 and small business owner and was beyond appreciative with how quickly they got me back on my feet. They recognized my very active lifestyle and skipped over the bandaids....I'm stronger and capable of even better workouts a year later than I was before I got injured! All the praise for Dr Wiles and his team!!
